These are known as Bead Cages, Spiral Beads and Lantern Spring Beads.  These are 14mm x 15mm and come in three finishes - Silver Plate, Gold Plate and Antique Silver Plate.  Use them with beads inside(thread through the cage and the bead) to add a special touch to your Jewellery.
